(WFD) compliant multi-method intertidal fish surveys.

Our field team is capable of undertaking both shellfish stock assessment and sampling of marine and migratory fish species in coastal and estuarine environments.

Our intertidal fish sampling is conducted using Water Framework Directive (WFD) compliant multi-method sampling approaches incorporating:

• Adult and juvenile seine netting
• Fyke netting
• Cast netting
• Gill netting

We also undertake stock assessments of commercial cockle and mussel beds in the intertidal zone involving ‘Dutch wand’ walk-over surveying, Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) (drone) mapping techniques and grab sampling aboard vessels at high water.
