Subsea cables

Ocean Ecology Limited delivers high-quality environmental surveys, analysis, and reporting to support subsea cable projects in the UK and internationally.

All Aspects of Ecological Work Covered

Whether working on offshore wind, interconnectors, or telecommunications initiatives, we combine technical expertise, advanced technologies, and extensive industry experience to provide reliable and efficient project support.

Our services include geophysical surveys to characterise the seabed and identify suitable cable corridors for new installations, as well as ground-truthing visual assessments using ROVs and drop-down cameras. We also offer seabed sampling and analysis to inform ongoing monitoring programmes, along with expert advice on the potential impacts of installations on protected habitats.

With expertise in designing and implementing surveys across intertidal landfalls, shallow coastal waters, and offshore deep waters, we provide end-to-end support. This comprehensive approach enables clients to navigate complex environmental requirements and successfully deliver subsea cable projects.
